Boston / New England

Making Boston a one-time center for America's social and political change, Bostonians blazed a trail of freedom from colony to independence. From literary icons like Thoreau, Longfellow and Hawthorne to the historical sites along the Freedom Trail where colonists like Samuel Adams gathered to proclaim their rights, Boston is a treasure trove of American history. Students will gain a deeper understanding of how American sensibilities evolved.
