Explore the Thomas Wolfe Memorial, the acclaimed author's boyhood home and the inspiration for his novel "Look Homeward, Angel." Much of the architecture in downtown was constructed by the same craftspeople who built Biltmore House. Asheville boasts more Art Deco architecture than any southeastern city other than Miami Beach.
